Budget! Budget ! And Research!

So before we started our guide, here's a question that many are asking about...

Instead of just buying a complete computer, why do we make it so troublesome to build one?

Well, the answer is easy. Its because of the price. Building a computer is obviously much more cheaper than buying one. Let's say one day u were walking in an electronic store and you were attracted by a computer,Dell XPS 720..and when u look at the price..whoaaa..$5000..you must be thinking," I can't afford a computer like that"..

Well, here's the secret. You can build exactly one like that but it only cost you about only........ $2000+.. and I'm not lying..and in fact, why not? It's the same as modifing you own car that look like a ferrari instead of buying one...

OK...so let's move on..

If you want to build a computer, you must remember the parts that make it into one. Without them, you cannot start a computer..Let's take a paper and copy down the items that you need...

1)Motherboard
2)Processor
3)Memory OR RAM
4)Hard Disk
5)Power Supply
6)Casing
7)Dvd Writer
8)Cpu Cooler
9)Video Card
10)Keyboard
11)Mouse

In this guide, im not going to touch the keyboard and mouse since there's really nothing to talk about unless requested..=)


The first most important thing on building a computer is to determine how much your budget is..This is very important as you are going to make your own decisions when building your own computer.

Firstly, you have got to determine what type of computer that you are gonna build? Is it a gaming computer, a server computer or just for normal usage..



Normal usage will cost around US$500 to US$800

Gaming usage will depends on wad type of games you play , whether you are a hardcore gamer or u are just playing games seldomly..
Hardcore gaming will cost you around US$1500 to US$2500
Normal gaming PC will cost around US$600 to US$1000

For server,it will cost around in the range of US$1500 to US$3500


Also, research is also crucial when it comes to your budget. When you have a fixed budget, your research is the one that gonna determine whether u overlimit your budget or just perfect..

Now how are you going to research, well the most obviously is by following my guide and after you think that you have understand what to look for, u can go to any computer online shops and minimize your search on the products u have listed before heading down to the stores to actually get one..I have included in the links section of some of famous computer online shops in the US...=)
